The city of Durban houses one of the biggest and busiest harbours in Africa, the largest shopping complex in the Southern hemisphere (Gateway), the busiest shopping complex in the Southern hemisphere (Chatsworth Centre), the largest population of Indians outside of India, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The city is a rich tapestry of different cultures, religions and people that is a perfect depiction of our Rainbow Nation, South Africa. There is the usual tour offering of diving with sharks, boating, plane rides and other extreme adventures. But, we believe that the true experience of our wonderful country and city can only achieved by being with it’s friendly people and amazing surroundings. Take a trip to a Traditional Zulu village and stay in the middle of nowhere, whilst still having a majority of comforts. This is a very scenic journey where travellers drive along the coastline and only occasionally divert inland. Your stay is at one of many luxurious facilities around the Wild Coast, with all the necessary comforts close to hand. Option 2: Drive into the heart of Kwazulu and stay at a proper bush camp at the foothill of a towering mountain. This has got to be an experience every visitor to our country undertakes. Your place of stay is so secluded that there is no cell phone reception, and you can only get to the site by 4X4, horse or ox-drawn wagon. You are welcomed on arrival by the friendly staff, and through your whole stay, you will be taken care of by a dedicated guide.
